About BAC

The DC Bicycle Advisory Council is a group of bicyclists appointed by the DC Council to advise District government on bicycling issues.

BAC is not an advocacy group but it helps facilitate communication between the public and District government with regard to bicycling issues.

BAC general meetings occur on the first Wednesday of odd numbered months. Meetings are typically held in room 1117 of One Judiciary Square (441 4th Street, NW) from 6pm to 8pm. All meetings are open to public.

BAC also has bimonthly committee meetings that typically occur on even numbered months. The committees are Legislative, Facilities, and Safety, Education and Enforcement and are open to the public. Please view our calendar for times and locations.
